Industry project fair

Students present their finished projects and our industry partners present project proposals for the next iteration of “Das Tübinger Softwareprojekt”, an industry-acedemia collaboration with the goal of letting students experience a real software project as a programmer during their undergraduate studys, or as a team leader during their graduate studies.

The event starts with a series of short talks in lecture hall N3 by the representatives of the industry partners who present their companies and the projects that are available for students in the 2016 edition of “Das Tübinger Softwareprojekt”.

Afterwards, students and industry representatives mingle at a poster reception in the entrance area of the lecture hall building, where the companies set up stands to further present themselves. Members of the seven student teams from the 2015 edition also present posters about the work they did in their projects. Many of the teams also bring a demo of their project to try out and interact with at the fair.

After the fair, undergraduate and graduate students can apply for registration as a team member or team leader in one of the projects.
